ESME Sudria’s main campuses are located in Paris, one of the world’s most dynamic cities for students. Approximately two million people live in Paris itself, and the Paris metro area has a population of over 12 million, making it one of Europe’s largest urban zones. With more than 40 collaborative labs and 3 000 startups, Paris is also a key-player in the world tech startup major league.
During the program, students will spend two weeks in Paris and one week on our Lille campus.
Lille is the fourth-biggest city in France. At the crossroads of Europe and with a strong startup ecosystem, Lille is also a metropolitan and international platform for innovation and new technologies. As Lille is really close to the Belgium border, students will also have the opportunity to visit Brussels which is the capital of Belgium!
Our Summer School has been designed to make participants take part in the “Maker Culture Movement”. Its goal is to help participants build knowledge in the fields of Creative Coding, Digital Manufacturing, Interactive and Generative Arts, Electronics and Robotics in a fun and informal way. You will study and work both individually and in teams in an inspiring environment, with free access to cutting-edge technologies. You will build your own drawing robot that will compete against other robots to win the Robotic and Digital Art Challenge Cup.
You will also explore Paris and Lille, two international innovation platforms, and meet with the French Makers Community!
